Lori Loughlin recalls working with Keanu Reeves

According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Lori Loughlin recalled her pleasant experience working with Keanu Reeves on their 1988 film ‘The Night Before’.

The “Full House” star talked about co-starring with Reeves in the 1988 comedy “The Night Before” on Friday’s episode of the podcast “How Rude, Tanneritos!” presented by former “Full House” co-stars Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber.

Sweetin, indicating her personal interest in Reeves, excitedly sought confirmation from Loughlin regarding his role in the project. With a chuckle, Loughlin confirmed Sweetin’s question, emphasizing the irony of Reeves’ role as the nerdy counterpart to her character, Tara, the popular high school student who goes with him to prom.

During their interview, Loughlin also discussed making the “funny” picture ‘The Night Before,’ which she called as a “quirky black comedy.”

Though she said her general filming experience “was fun” and “loved it,” there was one scary moment when they were shooting sequences in “downtown Los Angeles at night.” She remembers returning to the site after leaving for “lunch one night,” and discovering that someone “had been murdered in the alleyway where we were just shooting.”

Loughlin, who eventually spent two months in prison for her role in the 2019 college admissions scam, said, “I was like, ‘Oh my goodness.'” We were there in the midst of it,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
