Who is Shakira?
Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll is a Colombian singer and songwriter who was born on 2nd February the year 1977 in Barranquilla, Colombia. She is known as the “Queen of Latin Music” and is renowned for her musical versatility. She was born and raised in Barranquilla and at the age of 13, she made her debut on a record with Sony Music Colombia.
Shakira is William Mebarak Chadid and Nidia Ripoll Torrado’s only child. She is of Lebanese and Colombian descent. William, her father, was born in New York City to a Lebanese family. His family moved to Colombia when he was five.
Is Shaikra Evicted From Barcelona?
According to Spanish media, the 46-year-old singer received a letter instructing her and her parents to leave the ex-couples former family home after she performed her diss song about Pique and his new girlfriend on the late-night show hosted by Jimmy Fallon last month. It is the apartment where Shakira famously erected a witch on her balcony so that it faced the house of her mother-in-law, who lives next door.
The hypothesis was mounting on Monday in Spain that the letter was the reason for the tears she was seen shedding in a New York store in front of her re-visitation to Barcelona. After being photographed departing the capital of Catalonia with her two children to begin a new life in Florida, Shakira posted a farewell message on Instagram in which she did not make any reference to the eviction order.
Before her sons Milan, (ten years old) and Sasha, (eight years old), begin attending a private school just north of Miami on April 11, she is anticipated to spend a few days off with them in an undisclosed location.

The majority of people were taken aback by the timing of Shakira’s move, as she had indicated that April 1 was one of her potential moving dates. However, there were still questions about her parents’ health up until a few hours before her departure, so it was hard to know exactly when she would leave Barcelona.
According to El Periodico and La Vanguardia, on March 13, Shakira was told she had until April 30 to leave the mansion in Esplugues de Llobregat, where she had been living since she split from Pique last year, or pay compensation. La Vanguardia described the email as a letter from the former footballer’s father, and Shakira claimed to have received an email signed by her former partner’s father.
Shakira famously put a witch on the balcony of the house in apparent retaliation for Pique’s mother, who lives next door. It’s said to have been possessed by the previous couple in their names before turning into the property of an organization called BCN Two and Two in September last year four months after the craftsman and ex-Barcelona protector reported their split.
Pique’s father is listed as the company’s sole director on Spanish Companies House, and the holding company owned by the former footballer, Kerad Holding, is said to be the company’s sole shareholder. Spanish media have not indicated how much ‘remuneration’ Shakira would have needed to pay, as a feature of the understanding when the property proprietorship changed last September if she hadn’t left before the current month’s over.
