Who is Yul Edochie?
Yul Chibuike Daniel Edchie, commonly known as Yul Edchie among his fans was born on 7th January of the year 1982. He is a Nigerian actor who has been named after Russian actor Yul Brynner. He belongs to Anambra State, Nigeria and is the son of Nigerian actor Pete Edchee. Edchie is married to May Aligwe and has three sons along with one daughter. Their names are Kambi Edchie, Dani Edchie, Carl Edchie and Victory Zane Chukbuike Yul Edchie. On 27th April of the year 2022, the actor announced that he welcomed his fellow actress Judy Austin as his second wife along with his newborn son. The news received backlash from many colleagues and fans, whereas it was taken as a sign of support by others.
Yul Edochie’s Lost His Son
Two months after Edchie celebrated his son Kanbilichuk’s 16th birthday with his wife Mary Edchie, his son died. Yul celebrated his (son’s) birthday on 4th January this year, however, he recently lost his son and posted about this on his verified Instagram name.
Remembering his beloved son, Yul added that may God always guide and protect his son and that he will always love him as a father. Meanwhile, a family member who spoke to Vanguard confirmed the news of his death, saying Kanbirichukwu passed away on Thursday.
According to the sources, after leaving school, Kanbirichukwu had a seizure while playing soccer with his friends and was taken to a maternal and child hospital. However, even after reaching the hospital at the time, the efforts by doctors to resuscitate him failed to cause him to pass away.

The news of Yul Edchie’s eldest son Kambili passing away has shocked Nigerians so much that netizens started blaming the filmmaker for the tragic incident because of his marriage to his second wife, Judy Austin. The news came as a complete shock to Nigerians and they are finding it difficult to accept. The netizens are blaming Yul and his second wife, Judy Austin for the passing away of Kambili.
Yul’s latest post that was on his Instagram was posted about two days before this tragic incident took place, however angry netizens flooded his comments section. The actor revealed in a post on his Instagram page that he along with his wife believed that boy children are not better than our girl children and vice versa, emphasizing that both genders of children should be treated equally with love and that parents should be grateful for what they have.
