Stella brought joy to a lot of people’s lives. She did everything with class and respect, and she loved with all her heart. She is a mother, an aunt, a sister, an auntie, a daughter, and a Nonni. She was a woman who was always going somewhere. a guide for so many. She always had time for people, no matter what time it was or what was going on. She fought hard for her family and friends. She will be sorely missed because she is now in God’s light, completely healed, and looking out at the rest of us who were left behind.

Stella Stephens Glover has died. We’re sorry to tell you this, but we have to.
In May 2020, Stella had a heart attack. She was forced to go to UAB when she was only 34, but she refused. She used a ventilator for months at a time, had surgery on her vocal cords, and had so many other treatments that it’s hard to remember them all.
Then, early in 2020, she was told she had COVID. She did well with it. Greg, her husband, and their kids Kimberly, Amberly, Cody, and Candace all prayed together.
Stella got the news that she needed a heart transplant in the summer of 2021. As they looked for a donor, they went through a roller coaster of emotions, with high hopes and low points.
Things were getting better when she was getting care at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville a few weeks ago. Stella was finishing up the paperwork she needed to do and making the final plans she needed to get her new heart.
She was taken to UAB Hospital nine days ago after getting the OK to spend the holidays with her family. With so many problems, like organ failure, things went downhill quickly.
Last Wednesday, her family gathered around her bed to be with her. They said goodbye to Stella.
The cause of Stella Stephens Glover’s death has made everyone sad.

Stella Stephens Glover died peacefully on January 11, 2023, at 5:32 p.m., surrounded by her family and friends.
On Saturday, January 14, 2023, at noon, there will be a memorial service at the Sumiton Civic Center.
HER GRANDPARENTS WERE Carl T. Wilson, Stella D. Wilson, Robert F. Stephens, and Dorothy M. Stephens. Her nephew Jonathan Christopher Henderson II also died before her.
