Hearing about Big Colin Cole has devastated me. While on tour in Afghanistan with Colin, we performed on cruises, the Sensatori concerts, and other events. After one of the performances, a small Gurka soldier approached us and politely requested a picture with our giant. The encounter will always stick in my mind as the highlight of that Afghanistan tour. I laughed nonstop for a very long time, pretending that he was our imprisoned giant. He was a physical and mental giant, yet he had a soft, kind nature. My old friend, take it easy.
