Former Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu last Sunday became the latest in a series of right-wing leaders close to President Jair Bolsonaro to step down. Netanyahu was removed from his post after 12 years as head of the Israeli government by an agreement between left, center and right parties.
Since the start of his tenure, Bolsonaro has seen allies such as American Donald Trump and Argentinian Mauricio Macri beaten at the polls – and his confrontational relationship with his successors even before they take office could increase the isolation of his government from the world.
In this Wednesday episode (16), Café da Manhã speaks with journalist Fábio Zanini to understand how these results affect Bolsonaro and to analyze whether the wave of the right in the world is ending.
