Prince Harry kicks off Sussex Archives website saying ‘I’m my mother’s son’
The Duke of Sussex, his mother Diana, Princess of Wales, on Thursday launched her new charitable foundation at Central Arena, praising her “kindness and compassion” when she announced “I am my mother’s son”. The Duke and his wife, the Duchess of Sussex, have launched a website for the archives, promising to ‘create a better world’ with important photos of their mothers. A photo of a young Prince Harry on his mother’s shoulders proudly in the center of the homepage symbolizes his determination to follow in his footsteps. In the second monochrome film, a young Megan is her mother, Toria Rockland, begging to kiss her. The couple presented the joint statement “Letter for 2021” to the website: It started: “I am my mother’s son. I am the mother of our son. We unite Archevel. And he continued, “We believe in the best of humanity. Because we have seen the best of humanity. We felt compassion and kindness from our mothers and strangers. “It’s easy to see this in the face of the fear and the struggle and the pain. Together we can choose courage, healing and connection. Together, we can choose to act with compassion. “We invite you to join us. As we work to create a better world. One act of compassion at a time.”
