Scottie Scheffler wife, Meredith, is pregnant with their first child

The sensation of winning the Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club is unmatched by many things.

One of those milestones is becoming a dad for the first time, which 2024 Masters winner Scottie Scheffler will soon experience. After winning the Masters Tournament on Sunday for the second time in three years, Scheffler and his wife Meredith are set to have their first child later this month.

Scheffler Could withdraw from the tournament

Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, and Max Homa are tied for first position in the Masters after two rounds. However, the co-leader could leave the competition at any time for a more pressing reason at home.

Their first kid, which is expected in April, is being carried by his wife, Meredith. Scheffler declared he would pull out of the Masters if she went into labor. The announcement was made prior to him being tied for top after two rounds, though the ranking is expected.

As the top-ranked player in the world going into the competition, Scheffler had already won the Players Championship and the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March. 2022 saw him win the Masters.

When is Scottie Scheffler’s wife expected to give birth?

Meredith Scheffler’s wife is due to deliver birth around the end of April. Pregnancy durations differ, so even if it’s not quite the end of the month, Scheffler has reason to think his wife could give birth at any moment.

Scheffler informed reporters before to the Masters that they had not observed any early indications of labor. “But being pregnant is strange. It might occur at any moment. Yes, let’s have open lines of communication, and she can contact me at any time.”
