On Sunday, April 9, Jon Rahm triumphantly won the Masters, outdueling Brooks Koepka as well as Phil Mickelson by 4 shots. Rahm experienced intense emotion as his family joined him in the celebration. To enjoy the moment, he gave his spouse Kelley Cahill and his two sons hugs.
Jon Rahm Won Masters
The golfers played more than 29 holes on Sunday, which was a long day for them. Koepka and Rahm both had challenging matches. Although Koepka seemed to have a two-shot advantage after 54 holes, the title wasn’t guaranteed until the very last hole. Koepka’s performance on a concluding day was rife with errors. As he shot the ball too far over the par-3 sixth hole, a bogey resulted, and he lost the lead for the first time since Thursday. On Sunday, Koepka failed to make a birdie for 22 holes in a row, and Rahm profited from his slump. Rahm finished the fourth round at 3-under 69, bringing his four-round total to 12-under, while making just one bogey.
