On Monday, actor and singer Keke Palmer and her boyfriend, musician Darius Jackson, became parents for the first time. Keke Palmer informed her friends and followers of the exciting news by posting photographs and videos on her Instagram account. The recipient of an Emmy award shared a touching comment on her Instagram account and said it was for her brand new child.
Palmer wrote a message to her son and included it in the article. She took into consideration the fact that Leodis will be born during Black History Month and decided to give him the name Leodis Andrellton Jackson.
“What’s up Son!!!! The baby was born during Black History Month, and its name is appropriately themed. LEODIS ANDRELLTON JACKSON, please accept our warmest congratulations on the birth of your son, Leo.”
After “just 48 hours of becoming parents!” Keke and Darius can be seen staring at their kid in the first image that was taken of the family. Palmer may be heard performing an a cappella version of El Debarge’s song “Someone” in the second slide.
Palmer explained in the caption that the song had a special significance for them since Darius used to include it in playlists that he made for her when they had just begun dating. Back in December, while she was hosting her debut broadcast of Saturday Night Live, Keke Palmer made the happy announcement that she was expecting a child.
The friendship between Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson
The NOPE actor’s romantic involvement with Darius Jackson has been mostly unknown since Keke Palmer has chosen to keep their relationship discreet. While she had previously proclaimed the status of her relationship with Jackson public on Instagram, the photographs are no longer available on her profile. Yet, Palmer stated during an interview on The Tamron Hall Show that despite the fact that fans have been giving rise to rumours, she does not want to hide anything that makes her happy since she does not want to disappoint them.
