For those who are unaware, the former World Cup winner was diagnosed with colon cancer and was hospitalized for more than a month.
Pelé was taken to the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo on November 28 for cancer treatment. While acquiring the requisite infection, the late player was diagnosed with a respiratory illness.

Following the announcement of Pelé’s death, the Brazilian government proclaimed three days of national mourning.

Who is Kely Nascimento?
For those who are unfamiliar with Kely, the former player’s daughter was born in Santos, Brazil, according to her bio on the Soccer Conference.
She is the eldest daughter of the legendary Brazilian soccer player Pelé. Despite being born in Santos, she grew up in New York after her father relocated the family to Manhattan in 1975 to play for the NYCosmos.
Pelé’s eldest daughter went to Parsons School of Design and began working as an editorial, portrait, and social commentary photographer.
Kely is also renowned as a multimedia and art project producer and creative director. Kely filmed her father in a video blog during the 2014 World Cup, which was hosted by Brazil.
Later, she began developing daily material for his father’s admirers, charting and highlighting highlights of his father’s time at The Real Pelé.
