Marvel Comics confirmed that Peter Quill, also known as Star Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy, is bisexual. In theaters, the character is played by Chris Pratt, 41, who is linked in real life to Hillsong Church, which is considered by many anti-LGBTQ + thinkers, which the actor denies.
Quill will appear as a man who relates to men and women in issue 9 of the series’ comics, which are released this month according to the Screen Rant website. In the plot, he will have a relationship with Aradia and Mors, two blue-skinned humanoids who do not believe in monogamy.
Initially, he will disapprove of the couple’s progress, stating that he still hopes to return home and start dating Gamora (played by Zoe Saldana in theaters) again. After 12 years without returning home, he says: “You are my home”. The three then hug.
Also according to the publication, the relationship between the trio lasts more than 100 years. However, under different circumstances, he must return to his reality. “Just don’t forget us, stranger,” asks Aradia. “Just don’t forget.”
There is still no evidence that the story is being investigated in the cinema. The character was created by Steve Englehart and Steve Gan in 1976 and first appeared in the fourth issue of Marvel Preview. He is a mixture of human and alien, was abandoned on earth by his father and takes part in many cosmic events in the Marvel Universe.
This isn’t the first LGBTQ + story author Al Ewing introduced into the universe of comics. He was also the one who created the story in which the characters Hercules and Marvel Boy kissed during a fight.
