On Saturday, while filming an action scene on the set of “The Pickup,” a number of crew members suffered injuries.
Where did this incident take place?
Currently in Georgia, the feature film from Amazon Studios is being shot. On Tuesday, the studio revealed that several individuals suffered injuries during the production of the second unit scenario.
A studio representative said, “Unfortunately, the sequence did not go as planned and several members of the crew were injured as a result.”
According to the Associated Press, a truck “locked up” and struck a car out of the blue. The report states that two individuals were admitted to the hospital with injuries ranging from fractures to bruising.
In addition to Pete Davidson and Keke Palmer, Eddie Murphy also stars in the movie. The AP claims that none of the three were present on the set when the incident occurred.
Amazon stated that it was still looking for more details.
The majority of the film crew is represented by the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, which wrote a statement to the AP stating that they were aware of the tragedy and had started an investigation but that they were unable to provide any other information at this time.
