Police have revealed the cause of death for Garrison Brown, the son of Sister Wives actresses Janelle and Kody Brown.
On the TLC documentary, viewers saw the young man mature, but regrettably, at the age of 25, Garrison is no longer living with his family.
Kody and Janelle both posted social media pages confirming the news. In the meanwhile, after arriving at his house, the police determined the cause of death.
What Happened to Garrison Brown?
The family did not confirm the manner of death, but TMZ says that Garrison self-inflicted a gunshot wound, according to Flagstaff authorities. According to the article, Garrison’s body was discovered by his brother Gabriel.
Since 2010, the polygamist lifestyle of Kody, his wife Robyn, and their ex-wives Meri, Janelle, and Christine—as well as their total of eighteen children—has been the subject of TLC’s Sister Wives series. The family moved from Lehi, Utah, where the show was set, to Las Vegas in 2011 and then to Flagstaff, Arizona, in 2018.
Who was Garrison Brown?
Along with his mother Janelle, father Kody’s previous wives, Meri, Christine, and Robyn Brown, Garrison made his television debut on TLC in 2010. The couple went on to have two more children after he was born. Janelle disclosed that she and Kody were divorcing in December 2022. Kody’s connection with his kids grew difficult over time, as Janelle subsequently revealed in a contentious interview. “My concerns are on the mental well-being of my youngsters. Gabriel has a profound sense of everything. He is the child who stays silent, though. She went added, “Garrison doesn’t seem as happy-go-lucky as he used to be; he just seems angry or sadder.”
