Former Wwe Wrestler Billy Jack Haynes Charged With Wife’s Murder

WWE Wrestler Billy Jack Haynes has been charged with homicide, in keeping with police in Portland, Oregon.

The Portland Police Bureau stated in a news release that Haynes, 70, has been booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of murder within the second degree and illegal use of a weapon after his wife Janette Becraft, eighty-five, was found useless in their home.

On Feb. 8, the Portland Police Bureau said officials spoke back to a document of people taking pictures inside a domestic in the Lents neighborhood of Portland and identified Becraft as the sufferer.

Police said Haynes entered the home but was uncooperative with officers when they arrived at the scene. Officers said they believed that he was armed with a gun at the time, prompting the police to set up a fringe around the house and issue a shelter-in location in order to close by residents.

The Portland Police Bureau’s Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) and the Crisis Negotiation Team also replied to the scene, and Haynes was taken into custody. When officials entered the home, they determined Becraft was deceased.

An autopsy carried out on Becraft by way of the medical examiner decided she had died due to a gunshot wound.

Police stated Haynes was later hospitalized due to a medical condition unrelated to the incident, even though he remained in police custody. Officials stated at the time that he might be formally charged upon release from the sanatorium. 

One of Haynes’ associates stated to the journalists that Becraft was affected by dementia prior to her loss of life, and Haynes has been hospitalized because of a fall.

It isn’t always at once clear if Haynes has retained an attorney.

Haynes is best recognized for having wrestled within the World Wrestling Federation, now known as WWE, under the name Billy Jack Haynes from 1986 to 1988. He significantly confronted Hercules Hernandez at WrestleMania III.
