‘Lisa Frankenstein’ Review

Lisa Frankenstein is an American English-language horror-comedy movie released on the 9th of February 2024. The film’s director was Zelda Williams and it was written by Diablo Cody. Mason Novick and Diablo Cody jointly produced the movie under the banner MXN Entertainment Lollipop Woods while the distribution process is handled by Focus Features in the United States and Universal Pictures internationally.

The theme of the movie is inspired by the 1818 novel Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. The story presents a girl who meets a spirit from a grave and sets out to make the man of her dreams. The movie is set in 1989. A teenage girl, Lisa Swallows, longs to be with a dead occupant from her favorite grave of the Victorian era. However, unexpectedly, her wish comes true when a dead occupant arises from the graveyard and joins Lisa in the world of living. Together, they both set on a journey to find the missing parts of the body of the corpse. On the way of their journey, they encounter many challenges and adventures, navigate through themes of love, and get to their destination.

In the movie, the music is played by famous singer Isabella Summers, and the cinematography is handled by Paula Huidobro. Brad Turner has edited the movie very well. Moreover, there is no doubt in saying that all have performed their duties very well and lifted the movie that is loved by the audience. The Script of the movie Lisa Frankenstein was written by Diablo Cody, and she announced its production in June 2022 in collaboration with Mason Novick. The casting was announced in August 2022 when the production had just started in New Orleans.
