An incident happened in a school when a girl basketball player, Amarie Critie, died while playing the game. The incident is about a 14-year-old girl, Amarie Crite, who studies in 9th standard in Momence High School, collapses while playing basketball and dies immediately.
At the moment, there was a home game organized on the school’s basketball court, where family, friends, and classmates all were cheering up. However, the later incident turns the all-joyful arena into a mourning situation. Amarie was known for her vibrant spirit and passion for basketball in Momence High School, but she shocked everyone on the competition night.
Momence officials released that the game was going well, and while Amarie was heading towards the defensive position, she reacted abnormally and collapsed on the court. The school arranged immediate medication facilities, and attempts were made to revive her, but all failed, and she was declared dead. This leaves the entire audience in a shocking situation. Amaire’s family also created a GoFundMe page and requested the donation to provide a last homage to her beloved daughter. The family’s target was 15000 dollars, but they got beyond through over 440 donations.
The reason for her collapse has not yet been disclosed publically, and it is expected to provide conclusive information after a careful medical examination and investigation. Meanwhile, Momence High School and the district school Superintendent extended their sympathy and condolences to the suffering family and provided support to the staff and students impacted by the incident.
