CPP Payment Schedule 2024
This is a pension plan for Canadians to assist them monthly. In 2023, this assistance will be given to the people who are retired and have any disability. The payment is administered to the People’s Bank on the last week of the month, and for 2024 the payment is scheduled on 29th January 2024.
The people who are registered will receive $1306 monthly as their pension. People also will receive certain benefits for disability. The additional amount will be 1538.67 CAD, post-retirement will be 0.25 CAD, and for post-retirement disability, people will receive 558.74.
Under this program, if people have children, then there would be benefits for children also, as 281.72 CAD will be added for disabled children and 281.72 for deceased children. The CPP will also give a certain amount of around 2.5k CAD for death.
Eligibility To Receive CPP
A person will receive the CPP payment on the following conditions:-
- When a person has crossed the age of 60 or is working for 10 years or more.
- All Canadian citizens will be given this payment to retired people, the disabled, and also an amount who have died.
If you start to receive your CPP payments before the eligible time then your monthly amount will be reduced and if you start to take your CPP payment after the mentioned age, then you will receive some additional benefit on your monthly payment.
