Who Was Care Failure, a.k.a. Caroline Kawa?
On April 30, 1986, a lady from Canada named Caroline Slezak Kawa was born. She later rose to prominence as “Care Failure,” the lead singer for the Canadian alternative rock band Die Mannequin. She had her home base in Toronto, Canada.
Multiple times, Die Mannequin performed as the supporting act for Buckcherry, Guns N’ Roses, Marilyn Manson, and Sum 41 on tours across Canada. Additionally, they have performed several solo tours of Europe as well as a popular opening slot for Danko Jones in 2008.
“Care Failure” was not only a founder member of Die Mannequin but also collaborated with Big Dirty Band. She also made an appearance in “Hard Core Logo 2.” In 2007, Caroline released “Unicorn Streak,” a collection of ten tracks by her band.

Care Failure, a guitarist and lead vocalist for Die Mannequin, hails from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. (born Caroline Kawa). They performed on the “Next Big Thing” Stage at Edgefest 1 in 2006, have made several solo trips across Eastern Canada, and have opened for Buckcherry on their Canadian tour.
Additionally, Die Mannequin accompanied Sum 41 on their Strength in Numbers tour in the fall of 2007 and served as Guns N’ Roses’ opening act during their 2006 North American tour of Canada. They have performed in Europe on numerous times, both by themselves and as the opening act for Danko Jones’ 2008 European tour. Additionally, they are taking part in a segment of the Jägermeister tour alongside Bloodlights and Oceansize. In addition to a cross-Canada tour with opening act Raggedy Angry in the autumn of 2009, Die Mannequin also supported Marilyn Manson on his entire “The High End of Low” tour in Canada.
