Keke Palmer, who is known for her roles as an actress, queen of memes, and media entrepreneur, just became a mother. On Monday, the actress took to Instagram to share the news that she and her partner, Darius Jackson, had become parents to a son whom they named Leodis. In addition to posting videos and pictures of her newborn boy, Amanda Palmer also composed a series of amusing first-time parent notes. One of these posts included a reference to Drake and said, “I’m not concealing the world from my son, I’m hiding my son from the world.”
“The baby was born during Black History Month, and its name is appropriately themed. The aforementioned Leodis Andrellton Jackson, “Palmer was the author. “Welcome to the world, baby Leo,” their parents said.
After numerous of her social media fans had a suspicion that she was having a child, the “Nope” actress made the initial public announcement that she was expecting in front of a countrywide audience as she was performing her hosting duties on “Saturday Night Live” in December.
She stated this while broadcasting from the studio at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. “People have been in my comments saying, ‘Keke’s having a kid,’ ‘Keke’s pregnant,'” she remarked. “And just so there is no confusion, I will state unequivocally that I am.”
She uncovered a crop top and a pregnant bump by unbuttoning an oversized trench coat, which was met with a thunderous round of cheers and ovation from the audience. Palmer made light of the situation by saying that it is “terrible when people propagate falsehoods about you on the internet… but it is even worse when they are correct.”
Following the announcement, Palmer proceeded to put her growing baby bulge on show by participating in photoshoots with David LaChapelle, walking red carpets, and dancing in TikTok videos.

Palmer, who is a Virgo, appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” on January 24 to discuss her upcoming child. During their conversation, she disclosed the possible zodiac sign of her child as well as the gender of the infant.
“It looks like I’m going to have either a Pisces or an Aries for a baby. It’s hard for me to say for sure, “Palmer added. “It’s common knowledge that Pisces are profound thinkers and very emotional beings. Therefore, I just want to make sure that I am not being very direct with my little child.” She continued by saying, “Sometimes I can be a little too ‘tell it like it is,'” she said. “I need to put myself out there with a Pisces,” you might say.
A number of Palmer’s celebrity friends left encouraging comments and messages of support for her in the comments area of her announcement post.
