John Schneider, who played Beauregard “Bo” Duke on Dukes of Hazzard, has paid homage to his late wife, the film producer Alicia Allain. Allain passed away on February 21 at the age of 53.
According to her online obituary, Allain died peacefully at home with her loved ones at her side. Schneider had previously discussed his wife’s fight with cancer, therefore it is likely that this was the underlying reason of her death, albeit this was not made public.
A pain-free Smile, now living in her new body with Jesus, is the joy of my life,” Schneider posted on Facebook. Please give us some space to grieve in. Do not inquire more.
Schneider, a veteran of TV shows including Smallville and 90210, returned to Facebook on February 23 to post a more extensive eulogy for his late wife.
A: “Alicia was the gas that propelled my wildest ambitions. The impetus for all original ideas. Everything that makes up the essence of my being. I couldn’t have kept it together without you,” he penned. More than I can express, I miss her terribly. A term like “pain” is inadequate. The word “grief” is inadequate. The whole concept of love is too vague.
In return for their unwavering support, he thanked his followers and friends and asked that they continue sharing pictures and videos of himself and Alicia. Please keep praying that God would give me and my wonderful family the fortitude to get through this difficult time. If you happen to run into me onstage or in line at the coffee shop, don’t bother me with small talk about how you’re doing. The answer is “broken,” but it’s too terrible to say it out right now.
Schneider and Allain, the owner of Maven Entertainment and a film producer, were both husband and wife and business partners. Allain served as both Schneider’s professional and private manager. They tied the knot in the new year.
Schneider concluded his message by saying, “She adored you all and spoke of how committed and faithful you have been all these years and I love you right along with her.” “Please bear with me while I travel a road so rough and perilous that I never expected to have to traverse it. Have some patience with my inconceivable procedure. I want to express my gratitude to God for blessing me with Alicia. While I will never be the same, I have faith that we remain and always will be the “Team To Beat.”
