With his performance in Footloose from 1984, Kevin Bacon has been a fan favourite even when he was only a youngster. Kevin went on to feature in a broad variety of films after his breakthrough in the musical, including serious dramas like A Few Good Men and Mystic River and suspenseful action films like Flatliners and Tremors. He was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for his role in the TV movie Taking Chance, which aired in 2009.
Kevin has been married to 57-year-old actress Kyra Sedgwick for the most of his career. Kevin and Kyra married in 1988, and their two adorable children are now 30 and 33 years old; their names are Sosie and Travis.
The famous actor has proven that his children are more important than his job. In an interview with Closer Weekly from 2017, Kevin raved over his children.
The children, he remarked, were his greatest achievement. Being a parent is “trying to teach and having them learn by example to be nice, decent, sympathetic, industrious individuals.”

Travis, the oldest son of Kyra and Kevin, was born in June 1989. According to IMDb, Travis has tried his hand at acting, much like both of his parents. Aside from his on-screen appearance as Lenny in Kevin’s 2005 film Loverboy, he has not been actively involved in acting or acting-related fields.
Kevin Bacon is more known for his work on the silver screen, but he also has a passion for music with his brother Michael and the two have formed a band aptly titled The Bacon Brothers. The musical talent Travis inherited from his father is evident in his work as a composer for several TV programmes and shorts, including the forthcoming Space Oddity, which his mother directed.
Travis has played in several metal bands in addition to his career as a composer. He used to play in a Brooklyn metalcore band called White Widows Pact, who put out their debut album, also titled White Widows Pact, in 2013. In 2016, he also became a member of the black metal band Black Anvil, for whom he contributed to their most recent album, 2017’s As Was. At the moment, he is active with the band Contra Cult and the horror film collective #Slashtag.
