Six victims, including four minors targeted at an apartment building where 21 shot casings were discovered, are in critical condition after two quadruple shootings in Philadelphia overnight.
In the second assault, two 20-year-old women and two children were located inside a car with at least ten bullet holes; both adults are now in critical condition, and a 2-year-old boy has a gunshot wound to the leg, according to Fox29 Philadelphia.
Around two in the morning on Thursday, the four teens were the targets of the first shooting in North Philadelphia.
Philadelphia Quadruple Shooting
Just before 10 p.m., a quadruple shooting occurred at Rowland Avenue and Guilford Street in the Mayfair district. Around 10 p.m. on Monday, it took place close to Cottman and Rowland avenues, not far from Roosevelt Mall and Lincoln High School.
People likely related to the victims stepped outside the crime scene tape to speak with the police, making it an emotional scene. Shoes and shopping bags full of brand-new clothing were among the many items strewn across the floor.
“We’re hearing from some relatives who arrived that all four of these shooting victims may have gone shopping earlier today. We think they were all together, even if they might have been in a mall. According to Philadelphia Chief Inspector Scott Small, several bags and boxes look to have just left the store, which is why.
Four Victim in Quadruple Shooting
911 calls reporting gunfire in the neighbourhood were often made to the police. At Rowland Avenue and Guilford Street, the officers who arrived discovered two dead shooting victims.
According to reports to Action News, a third person who had been wounded numerous times fled inside a nearby house. He was taken urgently to the hospital by medical personnel. He had been rated as critical during the last inspection.
An unidentified 24-year-old male was the fourth casualty driven in a private vehicle to Nazareth Hospital. At the hospital, he later passed away. The victims’ identities are now unknown to police, but most are thought to be in their late teens or early twenties.
Police on Investigation
“Preliminary information indicates that all four of these victims were present together and were acquainted. The shooting’s motivation is unknown. Over 50 rounds were fired, as far as we know,” Small added.
Police still want the shooter in the Philadelphia Quadruple Shooting. There are security cameras in the neighbourhood, and the footage could help the police identify perpetrators.

With 446 fatalities, 2,515 injuries, and 2,961 victims overall, 614 mass shootings in 2020 met the requirements for inclusion in this article. There were 180 more instances this year compared to last. In contrast to the ten mass shootings in 2019, Statista forecasts only 2 in 2020.
