Walmart Super Center shooting: Who is Darrius Rowser? Dangerous Suspect with historical shooting events is arrested

The Walmart in Chesapeake, Virginia, saw a tragic shooting on Tuesday night. At around 10 p.m., the supercenter swiftly reported the event, but by the time police came, numerous people had already died. Police stated that the gunman passed away in the incident but have not yet disclosed the number of dead and injured civilians.

According to Leo Kosinski, a police spokesman, “Our research has found that there was a single shooter, and he was also killed in the incident.”

A lone shooter was most likely present inside the business, the police officer added, according to other reports. The suspect shot people present inside the company after pulling a gun.

Two people were hurt in a gunshot at a Walmart on I-65 in Mobile. Two people had been shot inside a Walmart close to I-65, according to Mobile Police Chief Paul Prine, at around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Prine asserted that a brawl broke out between two groups of people at the self-checkout line in an interview with WKRG News 5. Prine announced that bullets started to fly between the two teams. He stated that the number of fired shots is yet unknown to police.

Prine claimed that a man and a woman had both been shot and taken to a hospital for treatment. Prine omitted to report on the victim’s state of health. Additionally, he stated that it is unknown whether the two people who were hit were clients or workers.

According to Prine, the nature of the disagreement and whether the two victims knew one another is also unknown, but everything is “consolidated” and in control. According to Prine, Walmart was placed on lockdown and would be closed for the remainder of the evening.

The Mobile Police Department announced late Friday that Carmelo Derks, 18, had been arrested and taken to Mobile County Metro Jail.

The police are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jimaurice Pierce, 19, and Darrius Rowser, 19, who are still unaccounted for.

Who is Darrius Rowser?

The 19-year-old Darrius Rowser was reportedly found and put into jail by MPD late Tuesday night. Rowser was detained along with 18-year-old Carmelo Derks, who was also wanted in connection with the shooting at Walmart.

MPD allegedly sought Rowser concerning the December 18 burglary on Dukes Avenue and gunshot at the Paparazzi Club. Rowser is charged with attempted murder, two charges of reckless endangerment, and two counts of first-degree assault.

Jim Maurice Pierce, a third suspect, is still wanted, according to the authorities. He has a 19-year-old age.

Crime History

An altercation between two groups started in the self-checkout line. Darrius Rowser, 19, was taken into custody early on Wednesday concerning the shooting at the Walmart Supercenter on I-65 on December 27.

Both male and female victims who had non-life-threatening gunshot wounds were transported away from the scene. Rowser will also be charged with crimes related to the shooting that occurred on November 26 at the Paparazzi Club and injured four individuals, including two males and two women.

In addition to the gunshots, Rowser has been implicated in the house invasion that occurred on December 16 on Dukes Avenue. According to MPD, the house door was forced open by three unidentified male suspects brandishing weapons. One victim was beaten up, and another was shot at while he sought to escape the residence.

Rowser is accused of shooting into an occupied building while it was settled, first-degree burglary, attempted murder, five charges of assault, and reckless endangerment.
