She also has a sister who also plays soccer.

For entering the NFL Draft, he missed his senior season. He was a top performer in all categories. He was selected in the first round by the Houston Texans on 28 April 2011. On 31 July 2011, he signed a contract of worth $11.24 Million with The Texans. At the start of the 2011 season, he played all 16 games. Watt was regarded as Texans Team Rookie of the Year.
In the 2012 season, Watt was one of the best defensive players in NFL history. He completed the season with 12 assisted tackles, 69 solo tackles, and 16 passes defended. He was also awarded AFC Defensive player of the week against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
