Who is Miss Georgia Kelsey Kollis? The fourth runner-up from Miss America 2023

Kelsey Hollis, Miss Georgia, has made her mark by placing in the top five at the Miss America competition in 2023. While the world celebrates Grace Stanke’s victory, Hollis’ accomplishment is no less impressive.

The native of Warner Robins placed fourth in the renowned competition after Miss New York’s Taryn Smith, Miss Texas’s Averie Bishop, and Miss West Virginia’s Elizabeth Lynch.

Miss Georgia Kelsey Kollis Career

Kelsey Robbins, age 22, is now enrolled at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She intends to study sports psychology in the future due to her past job experience with VFL Films and the SEC Network. Kelsey’s autistic brother inspired her to advocate for the handicapped and their families from a very young age.

She is also the originator and organizer of the “Miss Queen of Summer” pageant, which recognizes middle and high school girls with identified impairments. She has also included education in her social impact campaign, “Autism Acceptance: A Platform for Change.”

The native of Warner Robins is still a student but has accomplished much at an early age. Kelsey developed the non-profit organization “TAABS: Teaching Autism Awareness by Siblings” in addition to the honours, as mentioned earlier.

She also spoke with state lawmakers to campaign for the passage of SB118, Ava’s Law, which would offer up to $35,000 per year in insurance coverage for psychological care for ASD patients in Georgia. This measure was passed successfully.

Georgia raised funds for the Children Miracle Network Hospitals

According to the Miss Georgia website, Kelsey Hollis has previously collaborated with prestigious organizations such as Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Preemie Closet, Fluffy Friend 3C, Navicent Health, and Autism Speaks. Reportedly, she has also raised over $10,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Kelsey served as Miss Georgia’s Outstanding Teen and finished second runner-up to Miss America’s Outstanding Teen before coming close to the Miss America crown this year.

Kelsey Hollis, who placed fourth runner-up in Miss America 2023, will earn a $10,000 scholarship, enabling her to continue researching the profession of education and enlightening lives along the way.
