Pran and Pat’s families have had bad news for quite some time now, having an urge to outdo one another, including their boys. The conflict between Pran (Korapat Kirdpan), a meticulous perfectionist, and bold and impetuous Pat (Pawat Chittsawangdee) has been passed down from a previous generation A Thai BL series called Bad Buddy centres on two college students who have a savage rivalry. The central figures are two neighbours whose families have been at odds for many years. They are also embroiled in an unresolvable argument with their friends from the engineering and architecture departments. These enemies become closer rather than provoking one other despite the hatred around them. Bad Buddy is a must-watch boy’s love masterpiece. The grand storyline, hot romance, and compelling performers work in perfect companionship. This hilarious romantic comedy is intriguing, wise, and very seductive. I hope I’m not overstating my admiration, but it might be the genre’s ultimate series.

The programme has become popular on WeTV Thailand’s list of the most watched BL series as of November 15, 2021. On November 23, 2021, it became the most-streamed Thai television show and drama and, following the release of Episode 7, the most-watched title on the platform on December 13, 2021. Despite being only available in the Philippines, the series made it to the iWantTFC Weekly Top 10 Most Watched Series list. The English-subtitled version of the series peaked at position nine on its first rank release on November 3, 2021.
