The Atlantic Forest will lose 13,000 hectares of native forest between 2019 and 2020, the report said

The Atlantic Forest, the most destroyed biome in the country, lost the equivalent of 18,000 soccer fields between 2019 and 2020, according to data from the Atlantic Forest Atlas published on Wednesday (26). 13,053 hectares of native forests were cut down, 9% less than in the previous period.
