Three members of the University of Wyoming swimming and diving team tragically perished in a single-vehicle accident close to the Colorado–Wyoming boundary. Charlie Clark, 19, a sophomore, Carson Muir, 18, and Luke Slabber, 21, are the victims’ names.
What Happened to Charlie Clark?
Thursday was the day of the disaster. It happened in the afternoon on Highway 287 close to the Colorado–Wyoming boundary. Although the accident’s specific time was not given, it happened roughly ten kilometers from the border. Tragically, three University of Wyoming students perished in the one-car accident.
They belonged to the swimming and diving team of the university. Three of the victims were among the five occupants of a Toyota RAV4 when it swerved off the road and overturned close to Red Mountain Road in Larimer County. After suffering injuries, the survivors—who were also teammates in the swimming and diving team—were taken out of the hospital the next day.
One of the survivors, the driver of the RAV4, was a part of the collision. Authorities are still looking into the reason of the incident and have taken into account a number of variables, including speed, impairment, and other distractions.
Who injured in this incident?
On U.S. Highway 287 in Larimer County, approximately 10 miles south of the Wyoming–Colorado border, Clark, Carson Muir of Birmingham, Alabama, and Luke Slabber of Cape Town, Africa, perished and two others were hurt when their Toyota RAV4 sport utility vehicle drove off-road and rolled.
University officials said the two men who were injured in the crash were taken to the hospital to be treated and have been released. They are 20 and 21 years old. Colorado State Patrol said the driver is one of the survivors.
