King’ori Mwangi has spent his life in the National Police Service. He served as the Commandant of Kenya Police College Kiganjo. He also served as Assistant Inspector General. He retired from public service in 2020. He served as provincial police officer as well as in many senior positions in the western areas. His last posting was in the Ministry of External Affairs in 2019.
But recently on Sunday, February 11, 2024, King’ori Mwangi died during treatment at Nairobi Hospital. His family is very sad due to his death. His family said in a statement that “We wish to inform the public of the death of King’ori Mwangi, a retired police officer. Kingori passed on this morning at a Nairobi hospital where he was receiving treatment. The family will update the public on the burial plans,”
