Fox is extending the Season 2 cast for Alert: Missing Persons Unit from John Eisendrath and Jamie Foxx. Alisha-Marie Ahamed (Family Regulation) is joining as another series regular, and Gil Bellows (Ally McBeal) has been tapped to repeat inverse Scott Caan and Dania Ramirez vigorously in the procedural show.
Composed by Eisendrath, Alert is set in the Philadelphia Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit (MPU). Every episode includes a heart-beating, decisive quest for a missing individual headed by investigators Jason Award (Caan) and Nikki Batista (Ramirez). Along with the MPU group, their responsibility is to see what is missing or stolen and rejoin them with their friends and family. Jason and Nikki, when hitched, have an exceptionally special interaction with these cases as their own young child disappeared and was rarely found. The profound cost of their child’s vanishing exploded their marriage, yet despite the fact that they’ve continued on, their bond remains.
Nikki currently runs MPU, where she and the group accomplish things for others that she couldn’t help herself: bringing a friend or family member back home. At MPU, she drives a profoundly gifted group, including her life partner Mike Sherman (Ryan Broussard), whom Nikki met when he was relegated to direct the quest for her child; Kemi Adebayo (Adeola Job), a profoundly sharp investigator with a shocking information base, and scientific anthropologist C (repeating visitor star Petey Gibson).
In Season 2, Ahamed will depict Wayne Pascal. Despite her name, Wayne is a lot of female and an expert hacker carrying out her home capture punishment in a dirty inn. A firecracker nerd, Wayne shows a golden heart underneath a tent outside.
Bellows is Examiner Hollis Braun. An iron hand under a lovely disposition, Examiner Braun is Nikki and Jason’s new chief, and as the top of the division, definitely plans to keep their unusual in line.
As the subsequent season starts, the MPU group steps into their new office in base camp, where Jason and Nikki meet their new manager, Monitor Hollis Braun (Roars), who needs to watch out for the group, especially the eccentric Jason Award. Jason acquires his close buddy to assist with the case: ace programmer Wayne Pascal (Ahamed), who he worked with in Afghanistan. Jason helpfully never told Nikki that Wayne was a lady (and a hot one!), which raises even as Nikki and Mike plan their wedding. Together, the group attempts to see the missing or kidnapped and assists with rejoining them with their friends and family before it’s past the point of no return.
