On Monday 15 January 2024, a famous radio host, Deborah Ohamara, was driving her car on the Airport Road in Lugbe when suddenly a vehicle hit her car from behind and it collided with a truck loaded with coal in front. Deborah Ohamara was seriously injured in this tragic accident and was taken to a local hospital but due to serious injuries, she died at the age of 31.
The radio station said in a post expressing grief over her death that “With heavy hearts, but with complete submission to God’s will, we bid farewell to our dear colleague, sister and friend, an illustrious and beloved member of Nigeria Info Abuja.” “The broadcasters announce the death of Deborah O’Mara (Debbie). “Ohamara, who was a staff of Nigeria Info 95.1 FM Abuja, was driving through the airport axis when a vehicle hit her car from behind and it slammed into a truck driving ahead.”
