Many Android smartphone users have talked about a problem that causes an error or notification, i.e., ‘USB Connector Disconnected,’ keeps popping up on their mobile.

The weird part is that these notifications keep popping up even when the mobile is not connected to the USB cable.

This issue is mainly experienced by users who own a Samsung phone.

So, if you are also stuck and irritated by the continuous popping up of notifications, then you have landed in the right place. Here, we have provided the solutions to fix this issue.

Also, the solutions will work for any Android smartphone, not just the Samsung smartphone.

Why Do USB Connectors Disconnected/Connected Notifications Keep Popping Up On The Smartphone?

The USB connector disconnected/connected notifications on your phones can pop up for several reasons, such as faulty cable, software problems, or moisture in the charging port. To fix this problem, one can try to switch to a new charging cable, update the software, clean the charging USB port, disable USB debugging, or perform a factory reset. How To Fix Android System USB Connector Connected Disconnected Notification Issue?

Solutions are:-

  • Restart Your Device: restart your device. It will simply remove the temporary bugs or the problems that are causing the device’s USB connector to show a disconnected/connected notification. Try to restart the device 4–5 times in a row. Restarting the device once will not solve the problem.
  • Clean The USB Port: The USB port of the smartphone can become dirty or clogged with dust, which can cause the connectivity error.
  • Change Charger: Switching to the original or a compatible charger will fix the errors and see if the error still persists.
  • Connect To A PC Or Laptop: attach your phone to a PC or laptop’s USB port, which will start charging the phone and may remove the “USB connector connected/disconnected” notification issue.
  • Try A New Charging USB Cable/Original Charger: If you’re still experiencing the problem with your smartphone still displaying the USB-connected/disconnected notifications, then it could be due to a faulty or damaged USB cable.
  • Disable The USB Connected Notification: activating the minimize notification will hide the notification, but it doesn’t solve the issue completely.
