Carbon Tax Rebate 2024 Payment Date
The Climate Action Incentive Payment (CAIP) payment dates in 2024 may vary slightly depending on the province.
The Carbon Tax Rebate is typically paid on the 15th of April, July, October, and January each year. If the 15th falls on a weekend or a federal statutory holiday, the payment is issued on the last business day before the 15th. Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, and Saskatchewan residents receive payments in the abovementioned months.
However, the federal fuel charge for Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island only occurred on July 1, 2023. The payments are scheduled for July 2023, October 2023, and January 2024. They will receive four payments from this fiscal year (2024-25).
