Jennifer Wingate Cause of Death and Obituary: According to police reports, it is being told that, Beloved high school band director and football coach Jennifer Winget is killed in a car accident. She was driving in the westbound lane on the 1300 block of Lake Murray Boulevard near Kroger when a vehicle suddenly hit her car from behind. Immediately after that, the people nearby took her to the local hospital and started treatment. But according to the reports of the doctor, there were many serious injuries on her body due to which she died in the hospital itself. Her death has come as a deep shock to her community and her family.

Police have arrested 31-year-old Chelsea Pittman on charges of causing this accident. According to police reports, it is being told that Chelsea Pittman had earlier been accused of about 20 incidents of speeding and careless driving.

Regarding the arrest of Chelsea Pittman, Lt. Andrea Grinstead of the Irmo Police Department said in a statement,

“After interviewing multiple witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage from nearby businesses, Pittman was determined to be at fault for the collision.”

It is being said in the reports that Chelsea Pittman was driving under the influence of alcohol due to which this accident occurred. He faces a fine of up to $10,000 and up to 20 years in prison. Till now no decision has been given by the court but soon we all will know what punishment they will get.

Saluda High School of Lexington County is mourning her death and extending condolences to her family. After her death, many tributes poured in on social media, some of which are as follows:

“We had the privilege of Jennifer being our son’s band director in Florida for several years. She was a beautiful person and our family is lucky to have known her,”

“So thankful for the countless hours she selflessly poured into our son and her classmates. There will never be another Ms Wingate,”
