Antoine Dubuc Hit And Run Case: Recently, a fatal hit-and-run incident involving Antoine Dubuc that occurred in Montreal on New Year’s Day resulted in the loss of two lives. Those killed are Augustin Wesley Katimba, 30, and Michael Chintakis, 31. After the death of both of them, their family is devastated and a lot of tributes are pouring in for them on social media. Police have arrested the accused Antoine Dubuc and are collecting CCTV footage for evidence.

According to Montreal police reports, it was said that 23-year-old Antoine Dubuc was driving at a high speed and did not even stop at a red light, due to which a terrible accident occurred and two people lost their lives. After that, Antoine Dubuc first ran away from the scene in his car and then got out of his car and ran away on foot. But Montreal police later arrested him and charged him with six counts. He has been accused of speeding, drunk driving, not obeying red light, fleeing from the scene of the incident and killing two people.

23-year-old Antoine Dubuc was scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday but was postponed, now he will be presented in court on Monday.

The family of one of the deceased, 30-year-old Augustin Wesley Katimba, says that Augustin Wesley Katimba had celebrated his birthday on December 31 and he was very near his house when this incident happened and he died. Katimba’s family was very sad to hear the news.

Michael Chintakis, 31, was on his way to a party at his friend’s house when the incident happened. Hearing this his friends and his family became very sad. After hearing the news of his death, many people paid tribute and said many things, some of which are as follows:

“If you needed help, he was there immediately, in a heartbeat,” Francis D’Ioia said. “He’ll say, ‘What do you want? I’ve got you covered.’ And so everyone hearing that it happened to that kind of person, they’re like, ‘No, it’s tragic, it’s a waste, he didn’t deserve it.’

“Yes, (Michael) was a cousin, but he was like a brother,” Natacha Papadakis said, crying. “He was like my protector, my security blanket and he would have celebrated his 32nd birthday soon.”
