Elizabeth Kitley who plays for the Virginia Tech Hawkeyes basketball team of the Atlantic Coast Conference has American nationality. Kitley grew up playing basketball, softball, and volleyball, with a preference for softball in her fifth grade. She had lived in Northwest Greensboro, North Carolina before she enrolled at Guildford High School, where she devoted herself to basketball when she was 6 feet 2 inches (1.88 m) tall.

In her sophomore year, Kitley led Northwest Guildford to her first-ever state champion in her 4A tournament, where she was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the game. She helped the team win another state title in her junior season and repeated as her MVP in the title game. Before her senior season, Kitley tore his anterior cruciate ligament during an Amateur Athletic Federation game.

Who Are Elizabeth Kitley’s Parents?

Elizabeth Kitley was born to her very supportive parents, Ralph, who is her father, and Loretta Kitley, who is her mother. Her parents raised her together in Summerfield, North Carolina. Elizabeth has a very good relationship with her parents and attributes her success to them. Ralph Kitley, her father is a retired basketball player who played professionally in Germany and Brazil.

Moreover, Ralph’s father, Marsden Kitley, was a Methodist minister. The family moved in the summer of the year 1983 when Marsden became the new pastor of Spencer’s Central United Methodist Church. Kitley has three siblings named Raven, Zach, and Nick. Her father played basketball at Forest University and played basketball professionally in Germany.

On 5th November of the year 2019, Kitley made her pp0pcollege debut, scoring a season-high 27 points on 13-of-15 shooting from the field in a 105-41 win over St. Francis, Pennsylvania. She scored the most points in her debut as a Virginia Tech freshman. Moreover, she tallied her 30 points and her 11 rebounds in a season-high 30 points and her 11 rebounds in her 84–59 win over Appalachian State.

Kitley also tied a program single-game record with 21 rebounds and scored 18 points in a 67–64 loss to Wake Forest. A week later, she had her 30 points and her 13 rebounds with AP No. 2 in her NC state. As a sophomore, Kitley averaged 18.2 points and 10.4 rebounds per game, earning first-team All-ACC honors.
