After 27 seasons, The Bachelor continues to give the final rose amid tears, heartbreak, and joy. On Monday night, lead actor Zach Charcross made a big decision between his last two contestants, Gavier Nikki and Katie Bigger.
Who is Zach Shallcross?
The television personality Zachary Lloyd Shallcross, born on 31st July of the year 1996 in the United States of America, made an appearance on the 19th season of The Bachelorette. He has also starred in the 27th season of The Bachelor.
Shallcross was raised by his parents, Chapman and Megan Shallcross, in Anaheim Hills, California. Zach’s family includes his two younger sisters, Sammy and Payton, and his uncle, is actor Patrick Warburton.
Chapman, who is Zach’s father, was the fire captain of the Orange City Fire Department until he retired in the year 2020. After graduating from Savate High School in 2014, Charcross attended the California Institute of Technology in San Luis Obispo for four years while playing soccer and excelling. He graduated from Cal Poly in the year 2019 with a degree in business administration.
Is Zach Shallcross Engaged to Gabi or Kaity?
In the course of the season-ending episode of The Bachelor, which was broadcast on Monday on the ABC network, Zach got down on one knee and proposed to Kaitlyn “Kaity” Biggar.
Before popping the question to Kaity, who is 26 years old, Zach from Orange County, California, sent 25-year-old Gabriella “Gabi” Elnicki home image for violating his no-sex rule with him in the Fantasy Suite. Zach was dubbed the ‘boring Bachelor’ at the start of his season. Zach asked Kaity whether she wanted to marry him to which Kaity replied, “Absolutely,” and the two began to kiss on the Thai beach.
Kaity yelled loudly that they were engaged as she held up her huge sparkling engagement ring made by jeweler Neil Lane. Zach then offered Kaity his final rose and she accepted, after that, they toasted with champagne on the sand before boarding a tiny boat that took them away.

Zach confessed to Gabi and Katie that he broke his vow not to have sex in the Fantasy Suite, but didn’t tell Ariel after seeing it on TV. Ariel said that she was hurt as with a partner with whom she had shared so many intimate moments, it hurt her to find it all on TV when everyone else is doing it. She added that she felt very disappointed that she didn’t know Zach. Zach apologized to Ariel and said there was no excuse for his actions.
