Giada is an Italian filmmaker and actress

Giada was born on October 16, 1975, in Pescara, Italy, making her twenty years younger than Willem. According to her website, she attended universities in Italy, Switzerland, and Australia. She began producing “video art and films on contemporary art” after relocating to Rome in 1995. Colagrande “produced movies on the works of Jannis Kounellis, Alfredo Pirri, Bernhard Rudiger, Nunzio, Raimund Kummer, Gianni Dessi, Maurizio Savini, and Sol Lewitt” as part of the art project Volume from 1997 to 2000.

Her debut film Aprimi il Cuore (English: Open My Heart) was released in 2001, and she appeared in it as well as written and directed it. The world premiere of the film took place during the 2002 Venice Film Festival. She has gone on to direct more than five further features since then. She has also appeared in Pasolini, directed by Abel Ferrara in 2014, and Castle Cavalcanti, a short film directed by Wes Anderson.

Willam asked Giada to marry him over lunch

Willem and Giada tied the knot on March 25, 2005, exactly one year after their first date. The actor from The Florida Project told Vogue Italy, “I asked her at lunch if she wanted to be married the next day. The couple was married the next morning with their two closest friends present as witnesses.

After telling the source, “She and I are inseparable,” Willem said, “He doesn’t act like a star; if anything, an artist.” Giada claims that the couple’s mutual appreciation for the movie is the key to their happy marriage.
