Who was Sammy Winston?

Former footballer for the English national team, Sammy Winston, has since retired. After helping Tottenham Hotspur reach the final of the FA Youth Cup, Winston transferred to Norwich City in search of more playing time. Unfortunately, he was unable to contribute to Norwich City’s roster. Throughout 1996, he suited up 11 times for Leyton Orient in the league before signing with Yeovil Town of the fifth division. Leyton Orient were playing in the Fourth Division at the time. He signed with Kingstonian, a club in the fifth division, in 2000, however he left at the end of the 2000-2001 season after the club ran into financial trouble and was relegated to the sixth division.

He then moved on to Yeovil Town, a team in the sixth division at the time. He started his professional career in 1996 after signing with Leyton Orient. I signed this deal with Kingstonian in the year 2000 when we finally settled on conditions that satisfied both parties. After negotiating a fair contract with Kingstonian in 2000, he signed on to play for them in the fifth division. Despite this, he left the team after the 2000-2001 season because to the club’s financial woes and the consequent slide to the sixth level of play.
