His family described him as “a loving, artistic, smart, and lovely human being” in a statement given to TMZ. Austin cherished and was extremely proud of his acting profession. He graduated from high school as Salutatorian and was an enthusiastic Eagle Scout. After attending the USC School of Cinematic Arts, he graduated with a penchant for music production and directing.

The statement continued, “Kali, Austin’s younger sister, says her favourite memories of Austin include growing up on set with him, volunteering with “Kids With a Cause,” and going on backpacking trips together. We will always miss Austin because he was the kind of son, brother, grandchild, and nephew that made us proud.
