Nicola Bulley, a missing mother, is believed to have sent a text message just before going missing, according to a friend who spoke to the Mirror.
The 45-year-old mortgage broker vanished last Friday morning while walking her dog in St Michaels on Wyre, Lancashire, after dropping off her two daughters at school.
Police have sealed off a portion of the road today while divers explore the water during the seventh day of the hunt.
Although there has been no concrete proof made public, it is believed that she fell into the river and was pulled downstream. Missing Nicola Bulley made future plans the night before she disappeared while out on a dog walk.
She is believed to have signed into a work conference call around 9 a.m. after walking her springer spaniel Willow along a nearby towpath next to the River Wyre starting at around 8.45 a.m.

Later, the dog was discovered alone, distressed, and “bone dry” on the trail with her harness on the ground, while Nicola’s phone was still connected to the call and left on a seat beside the stream.
Prior to the encounter, she is said to have texted a buddy about turning off her camera and microphone.
She scheduled a playdate for 8.57 and texted a friend whose mortgage she had just recently approved to set up the girls’ tea date this week, according to a village acquaintance who did not want to be identified.
She said, “You wouldn’t have done that if you were going to get up and disappear.
Prior to the first organised mass search, she said that the information was shared at a meeting held at the village hall on Sunday morning at about 10.30 a.m.
Paul, Nicola’s partner, is rumoured to have attended the meeting. Police instructed the group to search upriver in a pincer motion, as was previously reported. With about 100 people, including the elementary school’s principal, a second local search was launched in the afternoon.
Prior to going missing, two other dog walkers claim to have seen her and heard her “laughing and joking” with them when they saw her. It comes as Nicola’s mother Dot revealed to the Mirror yesterday that she had also been arranging for her and her sister Louise to take a spa vacation.
