Lisa Marie Presley is no longer with us. She became 54. The singer-songwriter, who was the only daughter of Elvis Presley, died Thursday in a Los Angeles hospital after having a medical emergency. Priscilla, Presley’s mother, revealed that she passed away just a few hours after her daughter was rushed to the hospital with a medical emergency. Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Lockwood haven’t gotten back together after five years apart.
Lisa Marie Presley was Elvis and Priscilla Presley’s only child. In the 2000s, she released her albums and performed on stage at shows. She attended the Golden Globes on January 10, 2023, to support Austin Butler, who had portrayed her late father in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis and had been named best actor in a drama.
Her mother was shocked.
In a statement to People, her mother Priscilla Presley said, “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the heartbreaking news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.” Priscilla added, “She was the most passionate, strong, and loving woman I’ve ever met.” We want to be left alone while we deal with this terrible loss. We appreciate your love and prayers. At this time, we have nothing more to say.”
She always used to talk about her father.
Lisa Marie Presley talked about how her father had influenced her in an interview in 2012. “I’ve always done it. I don’t listen to it anymore, and it’s different. Even though I might pay more attention. I’ve always been a fan. “He has always affected me,” she told AP.
When Baz Luhrmann’s musical Elvis came out last year, Lisa Marie and Priscilla Presley went to red-carpet events and award shows with the movie’s stars. Lisa Marie was at Graceland, the US mansion where Elvis lived and died just days before she died to celebrate the birthday of her father. In August 1977, Elvis Presley died. He was 42 years old, and Lisa Marie was only nine.
