On Tuesday, December 27, around 6 o’clock, Weaver was first reported missing. She was last seen around the John Tree Hill Road area of Powhatan County, according to the Powhatan County Sheriff’s Office. At the same time, Goochland County’s Tucker Park was the likely location of her last sightings, according to eyewitness reports. At Tucker Park, Weaver’s vehicle was located.

The Virginia State Police and the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office also contributed to the search.

On Wednesday, searchers at Tucker Park along the James River discovered the body of a Powhatan woman who had been reported missing. According to the Powhatan County Sheriff’s Office, Malana Patricia Weaver, 70, was reported missing on Tuesday. She was last seen leaving her residence on Monday, and her car was found at Tucker Park on Tuesday.

Deputies claim that they spotted Weaver strolling along the James River on Tuesday. According to sources at Crime Insider, teams investigated the region for hours using boats and a helicopter. Her body will be delivered to the medical examiner’s office so that it may be determined how she passed away.

Weaver left her home on 12-26-22, and her car was discovered on 12-27-22 in Tucker Park in Goochland County.
