Faithless singer Maxi Jazz dies at 65, Maxi Jazz cause of death.

According to a spokesperson for the band, Maxi Jazz, the lead vocalist of the British band Faithless, passed away on Saturday at age 65. In statements on social media, the band also acknowledged his passing.

The band announced on its Twitter account Friday night that Jazz, whose actual name was Maxwell Fraser, “died quietly in his sleep.” No other information on the passing was given right away.

In a second Facebook post, the band said that “he was a man who affected our lives in so many ways.” “He gave our music the appropriate message and significance.”

Musical career

After learning about hip-hop a year earlier, Jazz established The Soul Food Cafe System in 1984 as a DJ. On the London-based pirate radio station Reach FM in 1985–1986, he initially played the sound under the moniker “In the Soul Kitchen with DJ Maxi Jazz.” On the LWR pirate radio station in 1987, he played this sound.

Tam Tam Records, the dance label of Savage Records, 1989 signed the Soul Food Cafe Band. To distribute the band’s music as three EPs, Jazz founded Namu Records in 1992. The band also supported several actions, including Jamiroquai in Amsterdam, Soul II Soul in Barcelona, Galliano in Switzerland, and Jason Rebello in Brazil.

Maxi Jazz created the “Original Groovejuice vol.1” CD and the Soul Food Cafe in Deptford, South London, released by Revco Records in 1996. Following the band’s dissolution, Jazz continued to tour throughout Europe while also taking time to work with Jah Wobble on the Invaders of the Heart CD and perform live with the Wobble Collective.

He owned several vehicles, including a Marcos LM500 R, a Ford Escort Mk2 RS2000, a Subaru Impreza P1, a Ford Fiesta Zetec S, and a Ford Sierra Cosworth. In the 2010 Faithless song “Flyin’ Hi,” he also owned a Nissan 350Z, addressed in the song.

When Jazz persuaded Rae Claydon to enter him in the Ford Fiesta Championship for the 2000 season, he started Maxi Jazz Racing. However, Jazz was seldom able to compete because of his musical commitments.

Several of Faithless’ UK tour dates were postponed when Jazz was involved in a terrible vehicle accident on December 9, 2001. He competed in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB in 2005 with a Ginetta and the Porsche 997 GT3 Cup in 2006 and 2007.
