Anthony Richard was born on December 20 1996, in Trois- Rivieres situated in Canada, and he is 26 years old now. He is a famous professional ice hockey forward from Canada. He currently serves for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). Richard started practising hockey during his initial school days. He gained so much fame at a very early age. Richard played in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, which is known as major junior hockey, with the Val-d’Or Foreurs. In the NHL Entry Draft of 2015, he was also drafted by the Nashville Predators in the 4th round.
In 2015–16, in his fourth and final season with the Foreurs, Richard agreed to a three-year, entry-level contract on 14 November 2015 with the Nashville Predators.
In the 2018–19 season, on December 1, 2018, Richard was again called from his AHL affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals, to the Predators, because of an injury to forward Filip Forsberg and on the same day, he made his NHL debut against the Chicago Blackhawks in a 5–2 victory while following the game, he returned to the Admirals.
He also contributed seven goals and 12 points through 31 regular season games with the Milwaukee Admirals during the 2021–22 season. During his sixth year, on February 1, 2022, within the Predators organization, in exchange for Jimmy Huntington, he was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
For the 2022–23 season, on July 13, 2022, Richard signed a contract as a free agent to a one-year contract with the Montreal Canadiens. Richard adopted the number 90 jersey. He was designated to play with the Laval Rocket, Canadiens AHL affiliate. And he made an immediate impact even as the team struggled. His outstanding performance with the team was strong enough to start a debate as to whether or when he might be called up to play in the NHL.
The Canadiens announced on December 18 that he had been called up from the Rocket. When he was called for the NHL, Richard made a league which is leading 18 goals in 27 games and winning with 31 points, and he made it third in the points standings. He first made his debut for the Canadiens in a 19-December game against the Arizona Coyotes. On a breakaway deke on 21 December 2022, he scored his first NHL goal against the Colorado Avalanche.
