Martin Bernard Duffy was born in Birmingham on 18 May 1967 and later grew up in Rednal which is situated in the south of the city. He was a well-known English keyboardist who played with Felt and become very much famous with Primal Scream.
Duffy completed his graduation from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School situated in King’s Norton. He grew up listening to punk rock and as well as two-tone named The Beatles and Led Zeppelin.
Career Points of Martin Duffy:
Duffy attended the indie rock band Felt in the year 1985 as a keyboard player.. He left the school when was at 16.Duffy also played many keyboards of first two albums on Primal Scream and then later permanently joined the band when Felt disbanded at the end of 1989.
Duffy also played and worked with The Charlatans while following the death of Rob Collins, the founding members. After learning all the group’s songs in three weeks, he appears with the group at Knebworth supporting Oasis in the year 1996 and then contribute keyboard parts to the Tellin’ Stories which is the band’s fifth album.
He was a special member of the “rock supergroup” in the year 2004. He also get participated in contributing to recordings by Beth Orton, Heidi Berry, Paul Weller and the Chemical Brothers and then later in 2014, released a solo album Assorted Promenades. His work for soundtrack included the films The Laughing King released in 2016 and Wild Rose released in the year 2017.
Personal Life and Death Cause of Martin Duffy:
Duffy passed away at age a small age of 55 on 18 December 2022. The cause of death was sentenced because he was suffering through brain injury, when he fall at his home in Brighton.
Primal Scream made a statement that included “We re all so sad as Martin was the most talented among all of us.”
The martial status of Duffy is unknown. It is not possible to decide that whether he is married or not. He did not revealed anything about his personal or relationship status. No news has arrived about his relation.
