Matthew Aaron Schlapp was born in Wichita situated in Kansas on 18 December 1967. He is a famous lobbyist and political activist and he is also the chairman of the Conservative Union of America.
He is the son of the former city councilwoman Susan Schlapp and later became the senior constituent liaison for the Kansas Department of Commerce under the famous Governor Sam Brownback after eight years of experience on the Wichita City Council from 2003 to 2011.
Schlapp started his early schooling at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School situated in Wichita, and he completed his graduation from Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School in 1986. He receive his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and went to Wichita State University to receive a Master’s degree in public policy.

Schlapp first started his political career in the year 1994 and worked as a press secretary for five years, as campaign manager, and as chief of staff for Todd Tiahrt. He also worked on the political campaign of George W. Bush in 2000 and serve as a regional political director. Schlapp was the deputy assistant of President George W. Bush and political and also director during Bush’s first term. He gets married to the famous Mercedes Schlapp, who was the Director of Strategic Communications of President Donald Trump.
During the administration period of George W. Bush, he served as political director, and also advised on different issues to the President, Vice President, members of the cabinet, and senior White House staff and also had much contact with members of Congress.
Schlapp gets elected the chairman of the American Conservative Union on 19 June 2014.
During the 2020 election counts, Schlapp made claims of voter fraud. According to him, a total of 9,000 votes were cast in Nevada.

Schlapp gets married to Mercedes Schlapp. They first met when they both worked at the White House and she was working as the director of speciality media. They both co-founded a communication and political consulting firm named Cove Strategies, based in Alexandria situated in Virginia. She served as Director of Strategic Communications in the Trump administration from September 2017 to July 2019. SheW has worked on the Trump 2020 re-election campaign since July 2019.
The couple has survived by five daughters.
