Grace Stanke is just a 20-year-old girl. He is a nuclear engineering student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is now awarded as the third woman to win the crown of Miss America. Miss America in 2012, Laura Koeppeler of Kenosha and Miss America in 1973 Terry Meeuwsen of De Pere are also there in Thursday’s competition.

Stanke graduated from Wausau West High School. She is the daughter of Darrin and Jenny Stanke. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, she was Miss Madison for two years and then shifted towards the place of top ten at Miss Wisconsin and this year, she becomes Miss Wisconsin.

She was also crowned Miss Badgerland in March before becoming Miss Wisconsin in June 2022 and was informed on social media.
She participates in Ski Club and in the Wisconsin Water Board. She competed in various different shows and won various events for the same. In April 2021, she has crowned Miss Madison. She expresses herself as a nature lover who enjoys hiking on social media pages.
Grace expressed her expression for winning the title of Miss America 2022: “I am so honoured,” said after her victory.
Grace’s talent was her ability as a violinist. She motivates and expressed on social media for Clean Energy and Clean Future, and she also advocates for the transition to nuclear energy.
She also stated that “America needs to convert towards the zero-carbon energy sources and for this, I’m helping to make that happen”.

Grace won a scholarship of $2,500 in cash for her win in the second round. She is the third woman from Wisconsin to be crowned Miss America.

Stanke is survived by her parents Darrin and Jenny Stanke. They celebrate their wedding anniversary at the start of November and now living in Wausau situated in Wisconsin. Darrin passed his graduation from Wisconsin-Platteville from 1987 to 1990. He also studied civil engineering. Later, he started working as a director of project management at Zenith Tech for over 27 years from 1990 to 2017. He was the Vice President of operations in Wisconsin for more than three years.
