Isaac Liev Schreiber was born on 4 October 1967. He is a popular actor, director, screenwriter, producer, and narrator in America. He became popular in the last of the 1990s and at the start of the 2000s when he appear in several films, including the first three Scream horror films from 1996 to 2000, Ransom in 1996, Phantoms in 1998, The Manchurian Candidate in 2004, The Omen in 2006, Defiance in 2008 and X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009.
He lent his voice to many animated films such as My Little Pony: The Movie in 2017, Isle of Dogs and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse both in 2018.
Schreiber’s family shifted to the rural community of Winlaw which is situated in the southern interior of British Columbia when he was one year old. According to Schreiber’s father over the next four years, his mother gets hospitalized on several occasions and underwent therapy related to a bad experience with LSD.
After the divorce of his parents, Schreiber’s father remained in British Columbia. Liev has a half-brother, Pablo Schreiber, who was born in British Columbia five years later. He also has half-siblings from his mother’s first marriage and they were living with their father in New York City while Liev was growing up.
In high school, Liev played the bass clarinet.

When Schreiber was five, his parents divorced and a custody battle ensued of bankrupting his grandfather. His mother won custody, and then they both moved towards a cold water flat on the East Side in Manhattan, where they lived for some time with no electricity, hot water, or even with not even beds. It was the duration of a period when Schreiber began his career in theatre by joining the Joffrey Ballet School of New York.
Schreiber started to attend Hampshire College in Amherst situated in Massachusetts from where he started training in acting at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Later he attended the Yale School of Drama and where he studied with Earle R. Gister and later worked as a star in Charles Evered’s The Size of the World which is directed by Walton Jones. In 1992, he gained a master’s degree in drama from Yale. He also joined the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Originally he wanted to be a screenwriter.
Schreiber also performed in many Broadway productions. He also won the Tony Award in 2005 for Best Featured Actor and for his performance in the play Glengarry Glen Ross. In the same year, he first made his debut as a film director and writer with Everything Is Illuminated composed in 2005, which is based on Everything Is Illuminated of 2002. He also narrated the HBO documentary, “Magic & Bird: A Courtship of Rivals” in 2010.
His role earned him five Golden Globe Award nominations and three Primetime Emmy Award nominations also.
